Malaysia

Malaysia is located in SE Asia and it consists of 13 states and 3 federal territories. The country is geographically divided into Peninsular Malaysia and Eastern Malaysia. Therefore, Peninsular Malaysia shares its northern border with Thailand and to the south is the border with the city state of Singapore. Also, to the west across the Straits of Malacca lies the island of Sumatra, Indonesia and to the northwest lies the Andaman Sea. To the east lies the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea. The second half of the country is located on the Island of Borneo. Borneo is a popular destination for Malaysia travel adventure. It shares land borders with both Brunei and Kalimantan, Indonesia. To its north lies the South China Sea and to the east lies the Sulu Sea and Celebes Sea.
