The white rhino and the black rhino are the two species of rhino in Africa. Although the two species of rhino have very similar characteristics there are some significant differences.
The food source of the white rhino is primarily grass which it eats off the ground. As a result, it has a broader mouth than the black rhino. In contrast, the black rhino eats fruits and shrubs. Therefore it has a more pointed lip and the mouth is more narrow compared to the white rhino.
Additionally, the front horn of the white rhino is noticeably longer than the black rhino. The rear hips of the white rhino also are lower to the ground.
