The geographical location of Kenya lies at the equator with the Indian ocean forming the country’s Eastern border. Additionally, Kenya shares land borders with Tanzania to the south, Uganda and South Sudan to the west, plus Ethiopia and Somalia to the North. The national parks in Kenya are world famous for their safari animals. Indeed, we all grew up watching wildlife documentaries filmed on location at these iconic wildlife reserves. Famous Kenya safari destinations I visited include Amboseli, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu National Reserve. Fortunately, Kenya has continued to preserve their natural resources well and tourism is a huge factor for the local economy.
